Before spending millions on Facebook™ Ads... I struggled for years

Some call me a “Facebook™ Ads wizard” after seeing the results on my $1 million+ ad spend… but frankly, why should you care?

That’s when it hit me.

I messed $#(% up the most important part of my Facebook™ campaigns:

Targeting

It was time to throw everything those “gurus” said out the window. I started thinking for myself — outside the box.

That’s when I began to notice a pattern. I realized that most advertisers are making the same expensive targeting mistakes.

3 targeting mistakes, to be exact.

If you've used interest-based targeting, you definitely made these mistakes as well

Without knowing what to look for… they’re pretty much impossible to avoid.

So I fiddled around a bit, and figured out how to avoid these targeting mistakes in my own campaigns…

… which made all the difference.

This made ALL the difference! I finally got the results I dreamed about

Felt like magic!!

Shortly after, reality kicked in.

“Was this a lucky shot?”

I immediately set up an experiment (A/B split-test) to measure what would happen if I’d just fix ONE of those mistakes.

Here’s what I did:

Step 1: Created two identical ads (same image, copy etc) for the same offer.

Step 2: I targeted both ads to the exact same interests.

Step 3: I fixed one of the 3 targeting mistakes in one of these ads (took me less than 60 seconds).

The ONLY difference between these ads was the fix (or loophole) I added. Took me less than 60 seconds

The results? See for yourself:

By simply fixing one of the common made targeting mistakes (in less than 60 seconds), I turned a LOSING ad into a very profitable one (delivering me a neat 215% ROI).

The Old Way

The new Way

  • Identical ad & landing page
